Curragh Stone has finished a driveway extension in Kildare for a client. The existing driveway which consisted of a gravel stone base we removed. There was a concrete pathway running around the house which we also removed and a lawn to the right which we extended into by inserted a new curved line to allow more space to entrance of the house. We prepared the entire area by installing a new base and setting our levels to allow for an accurate water fall on it.
When the preparation work was completed, we installed first the new paving area to the right of the driveway. This was done using a Kilsaran paving block with a grey granite sett inserted as a border to offset against the colour of the paving. When the paving area was completed, we installed the new tarmac driveway ensuring the tarmac finished flush with the new paving area. The tarmac was extended to insert a new crossover coming into the driveway as well.
